Prepare More Ministry Leaders Sooner
BBC&S exists to produce effective ministry leaders, but how can these men and women begin their ministries when they are tied down by so much debt?
The average BBC&S student will graduate with over $20,000 in student loans.
Through an endowment or an annually funded scholarship, you can assist ministry students with their education, allowing them to stay in school, graduate with less debt, and enter ministry more quickly. Learn more.
Endowed Scholarship
Option 1
Create an endowment in your name or the name of a loved one. You select the criteria and the type of student you want to help. You can fund the endowment during your life or through your estate. The minimum amount to name an endowment is $50,000.
Option 2
Contribute to the Ministry Leaders Endowment. This endowment is open to anyone who wants to support students training for career ministry. The Ministry Leaders Endowment gives our President the maximum flexibility to help students who exhibit financial need and potential for ministry. Contributions can be made in any amount, and you can also give through your estate plan.
Annually Funded Scholarship
Instead of an endowment, you can create an annually funded scholarship. Like an endowment, you can name the fund and select the criteria. Each year, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the scholarship which will be awarded to students in the same year. The minimum suggested annual contribution for a scholarship is $1,000.

Ways to Give
- Transfer cash or appreciated assets now.
- Pledge cash or assets over a period of three to five years.
- Place BBC&S in your estate plan for the entire portion. *
- Create a planned gift with BBC Foundation, leaving the balance to your endowment upon your passing.
- Any combination of the above.
*If leaving the amount completely in your estate plan, it is best to speak with BBC&S representatives while you plan your estate to clearly communicate the criteria and area of study you want to support.
Student Impact Fund
Another way to help future ministry leaders is to give to the BBC&S Student Impact Fund. The SIF supplements the tuition costs for all of our students and helps us keep our tuition below the national average.
